Atlanta (September 2008) - Robins, Kaplan, Miller & Ciresi L.L.P. is pleased to announce that V. Robert Denham, Jr., has joined the firm as partner in the Business Litigation Group. For 29 years, he has focused his practice on litigation, trial, and appeal of complex litigation matters. He previously was a partner with another firm, where he formerly was practice group leader of the Tort Litigation and Environmental Group and a former member of that firm's governing Board of Partners.
Denham has extensive experience as a trial attorney, and has handled litigation, trial, and appeal of complex litigation in numerous areas, including health care and managed care, fraud, RICO, class action, toxic exposure, product liability, indoor air quality, nuisance and trespass, storm water runoff, environmental enforcement and cost recovery, misappropriation of trade secrets, contract and business disputes, libel and slander, and media access to evidence and courtrooms.

Denham is admitted to practice in Georgia and Florida as well as in the U.S. Supreme Court, and the Fourth, Eighth, Eleventh and D.C. Circuits. He is a member of American Health Lawyers Association, American Chemical Society and American Society of Regulatory Toxicology and Pharmacology. He is past chair of the Litigation, Environmental and Toxic Tort section of the Atlanta Bar Association.
Locally, Denham is a member of the Board and Vice President, Legal Affairs of Georgia Shakespeare, and he is a member of the Board of Planned Parenthood of Georgia. Before he began his law career, Denham was a Lieutenant in the U.S. Navy, and an engineer with Ford Motor Company.
Denham received his J.D. from University of Florida with honors, his B.S. in Engineering from University of Michigan, magna cum laude, his M.S. in Aerospace Engineering from the University of Michigan and he attended the Aerospace Engineering program at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute.
