Three Firm Members Receive 2009 Unsung Legal Heroes Award

Minneapolis - Jane Angell, Tamara Barrett, and Richard Nigon, employees in the Minneapolis office of Robins, Kaplan, Miller & Ciresi L.L.P., were among the recipients of the second annual "Unsung Legal Heroes Award," presented by Minnesota Lawyer.

Ms. Angell, a legal administrative assistant who has been with the firm for 19 years, was honored in the Legal Secretary category.  Ms. Barrett, who was recognized in the Paralegal category, has been with Robins, Kaplan, Miller & Ciresi L.L.P. for 13 years, working with the Intellectual Property Litigation department.  Mr. Nigon, the firm's Chief Financial Officer,  recently celebrated his 21st year at the firm, and was honored in the Accounting category.

In total, 24 of the state's most talented and dedicated legal support professionals were recognized for the support they provide behind the scenes in the following categories: Firm Administrator; Law Librarian; Legal Marketer; Legal Secretary; IT; Accounting; and Paralegal.

This year's honorees accepted their awards on Thursday, September 17 during a luncheon at the Hyatt Regency in Minneapolis.
