Leigh Esposito and Kathy Lee Join Robins, Kaplan, Miller & Ciresi L.L.P.

LOS ANGELES (April 22, 2009) - Leigh Esposito and Kathy Lee have joined the Los Angeles office of the national law firm of Robins, Kaplan, Miller & Ciresi L.L.P., as associates, practicing in the firm's Insurance Group.

Ms. Esposito represents and advises insurers and corporations in various aspects of insurance litigation, including coverage disputes, policy interpretation, and defense of bad faith litigation.  She is admitted to practice in California.  Prior to joining Robins, Kaplan, Miller & Ciresi L.L.P., Ms. Esposito practiced commercial litigation with an international law firm where she represented corporations and individuals in a variety of litigation matters, including defense of securities class actions, intellectual property disputes, environmental litigation and white collar defense.  She has also represented high net worth individuals involved in complex family law disputes.  Ms. Esposito received her J.D. from Columbia University School of Law (2005), and her B.A. in English, cum laude from the University of Pennsylvania (2001).

Ms. Lee practices primarily in the areas of insurance coverage litigation, insurance subrogation, and defense of bad faith litigation.  Her experience includes earthquake losses, food contamination cases, business interruption claims, mechanical failures, and industrial equipment and facility explosions.  She is admitted to practice in California and U.S. District Court, Central District of California.  Prior to joining Robins, Kaplan, Miller & Ciresi L.L.P., Ms. Lee gained experience in complex litigation, including class action, antitrust, bankruptcy, insurance defense, as well as premises liability, real property law, and catastrophic personal injury.  Ms. Lee earned her J.D. from the University of California, Hastings College of the Law (2004), and received her B.A. in Sociology from the University of California, Berkeley (1999).
