Firm's Managing Partner, Steven Schumeister, Named on "100 Managing Partners to Know" List by Lawdragon

Minneapolis (June 27, 2008) - Steven A. Schumeister, Managing Partner of Robins, Kaplan, Miller & Ciresi L.L.P., was recently named on Lawdragon's "100 Managing Partners to Know" list.
According to Lawdragon's web site, the firm leaders were selected through a combination of submissions from firms and Lawdragon's editorial research. More than 50,000 legal professionals were contacted for their input on the lawyers making news in firm leadership.
Lawdragon states that Schumeister "transformed the Minneapolis must-have to an AmLaw A-list firm noted for diversity and pro bono while streaming its focus.
Schumeister joined Robins, Kaplan, Miller & Ciresi L.L.P. in 1986 and became the firm's third managing partner in 1997. He practices in the areas of project finance and real estate development and corporate and real estate finance. Schumeister also heads the firm's private charitable foundation and is a member of the Robins, Kaplan, Miller & Ciresi L.L.P. Diversity Committee. Schumeister is also involved with various civic organizations in the community. He serves as Chair of the Hennepin County Fund for the Legal Aid Society, is President of the Board of the Legal Rights Center, and serves on the Advisory Board of Children's Defense Fund Minnesota.
